Drink More Water
| October 30, 2013Drinking good pure water helps your body remain vital and healthy. Ideally, a person can consume 4-6 cups of water per day depending on weight and exercise level.
Water is:
- the most abundant nutrient in the body (60% – 65% of your total weight),
- responsible for the transport of nutrients and oxygen,
- key for regulating temperature,
- critical for proper elimination of waste and toxins,
- widely taken for granted and disrespected and polluted by most people
- the least forgiving of all the nutrients you consume.
You can survive for weeks without food, but for only a couple of days without water.
Most people do not drink enough pure clean water. Most people rely on coffee, tea, soda, and juice for fluids.
Make a habit of carrying water with you in a container that you use every day. Buying bottled beverages and discarding the plastic bottle is severely polluting to the earth. Buy a reusable bottle that is a litre or quart and drink all of the water before 6 PM. Do not drink fluids throughout the evening because your sleep will be interrupted by needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
